(2003-06-27) | Spooky, this! The hills in the background present the observer with an optical illusion. The CI site actually slopes considerably more rightward than Vicky's piccysuggests. What you cant quite see is that the hill in the R background is half the altitude (3degs) as the one in the L background (nearly 7 degs) as measured with a clinometer. Yet I 'saw' the same as Vicky, the RH hill higher then t' other ! It would be interesting to get other visitor's comments on this. |
