|Description ||I was shown this carving by a man who's undertaken an extensive and detailed survey of the rock-art of the region. He asked me not to reveal it's exact whereabouts. The carving isn't recorded as far as I'm aware. It shows a groove and cup marks, with a faint groove encircling them. I thought it very reminiscent of a rudimentary 'face'. |
|How big is the large 'cup mark'? It appears to be quite large. There is certainly one ring mark around it, but is there not also a possible second faint ring mark outside this, just visible to bottom right. |
|oh go on Dave, you can tell me. You don't have to reveal its 'exact location', within 100 meters or so will do though ;-)
Do you know if its been relocated, the carved rock looks to be sandstone, where as the one to the right doesn't? |
|The one in the background looks rather smooth and flat too.|
