Description Another self portrait taken in an alleyway next to St John's Church in Chester - the site of alleged ghost monk sightings.
For the first time, I was asked to come in to help on the ghost tours, to lurk and spook 12 groups making their way around the city over 3 1/2 hours on Ghost Tours which run from the Chester Visitor Centre. In between spooking folk (and myself, periodically!), I played with my camera.
I also frightened the life out of some poor woman with her boyfriend. I blackened up my neck and face with charcoal for Monday night. I had hoped to reassure them as they approached. I gently said "Good Evening", to which the woman paused, and said with pauses between the words "Oh S**t! It's got no face!", she ran off screaming, and I fell about laughing... sorry whoever you were!

with my mouth... no - just said it in a normal speaking voice, politely and good volume. I'm still chuckling now when I think about it!

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall!

Promise you won't go doing that inside a chamber tomb...
