(2005-09-27) | Hi,found something that has a very similar design called an analemma.This si a figure traced out by the sun over the course of a year. The photographs were taken on 45 mornings over 2 years. The upper and lower tips of the figure 8 represent solstices and eqiunoxes exactly midway between the tips.Very interesting!
