Description Gurteen Stone Circle SW of Kilgarvan, Co. Kerry. Portal stones at NW. Accessible by foot after a 10-minute drive from Kilgarvan. Ask for directions at O'Suilleabhain's Pub in the village. Note to visitors: if you find yourself in a farmyard with three ferocious dogs, you've gone too far. Go back down the hill and look for the metal gate on the right. The circle is on a small hill beyond the gate.
