It consists of about 39 mostly upright menhirs of up to 1.30 Meters tall in a Y shaped configuration in the woods about 200 Meters to the East of the town of Guebwiller in Alsace. Most stones are about 50 Cm tall and a park bench occupies the center, where more stones should have been. The Club Vosgien keeps the place clear and marked the path. The allignements are pointed North-South and North West to South East, and both have a slight curvature. As result of some local arts and crafts event, a fake ceramic menhir was placed there, but now lies toppled. |
