Description Taken 26th August 2005, just after nightfall. Using flash on the outside and torchlight on the inside, I took quite anumber of shots with this combination and also with single light sources. Not entirely sure which ones worked and which are OTT but I liked this one in particular because my dog managed to sneak into the frame when I was otherwise busy!

Well, I am one of the owners of the land on which the dolmen stands, until tomorrow (22 sept) when it will be sold. I would apporeciate any other photos you may have taken as souvenirs !!

I hope the new owner of the land will treat it with the respect it deserves and ensure that this beautiful dolmen will be protected, but still accessible, to caring visitors. I've got some camcorder footage of it in 2003 (see comments on site page - click yellow highlighted name top left). Hope you'll forgive me for not asking permission to enter the field then!

I went and saw this amazing dolmen but couldn't really get the cows out of the way to get the best shots. Also, you never know if there is a bull out there somewhere, and that dolmen is way out in the middle of the field! Also, I hate to trespass. Paddy, do you recall who you sold it to and could I call them for access? Send me a PM if you are still a member. thanks
Pete
