(2005-08-25) | Unfortunately, in August 2005, direct access to this dolmen has recently been prevented, with the erection of fences, including electrical fences around the field within which it sits, due to a local equestrian centre expanding and putting horses in the field. While visiting a week or so ago, I met a lady walking her dog here, and she was telling me its a great shame, and that she has complained to the local council. Her opinion was that the dolmen should be available for all to enjoy, and that up until a few weeks ago, she had always been able to. |
