Description A much-visited quoit, although no one else was around during the cloudless dusk. A few days after I took this picture I saw a very similar faded one in the window of a shop in Mousehole. Postcards of this photogenic reconstructed quoit are found in all the tourist shops, and vary greatly in quality.

Sorry, not meant to be mysterious, no one else apart from "us".

Maybe I should make more use of these chaps :) ;) etc.! Its sometimes quite a surprise when you meet other people at these sites (either at "unusual" times or in remote locations). There was a familly at the Men-an-tol earlier on in the evening, they expressed their surprise that the stones weren't bigger (postcard pictures usually don't give much sense of scale) then went back to their car. Then we stayed a while, and left when the next group of people turned up. Quite a different experience to the other end of the scale (Stonehenge?).

Were you at Stonehenge for Summer Solstice Jim? It's crazy then.
