|Description ||Cerrig Duon circle, whose small stones border the edge of the southern semi-circular end of a platform in the Afon Tawe valley, a few metres to the south of Maen Mawr (nearest camera). To the right of pic is one of the larger stones in the WNW arc.|
|Long horizon, lonely place. I get the feeling this is quite a quiet place angie, except perhaps for the wind and skylarks? |
|Hi Nicola. It can be quite busy in the river valley to the left of this 'platform'. Apparently the banks were swarming with picnickers in the recent good weather [sadly they'd left lots of used barbecue trays!] but you have to cross it to get to this side. A road runs through the valley [young Afon Tawe] but parking spaces are rather limited. The day we were there was fairly quiet.|
