Description Not a picture of the site itself, but about 200 yards away from it, there was a stretch of forest path where it felt quite eerie. All the shots taken on this path turned out the same (there were 3). It's probably that the path was rather dim and the digital camera switched to a low light mode, but still.....

If you don't have a tripod, try to balance your camera on a rock, log or other support. Then set the self timer.

This is quite pretty but it makes my eyes go funny. It reminds me of my first, scary, visit to Barclodiad y Gawres... It was so dark and eerie in there, and I was trying to film with my camcorder on 'night mode' (very quickly so I could get out into the sunlight again!) so the playback was quite shaky!

We visited here 8 years ago and I took a few pictures of the walk up to the Giants Grave and I agree completely eery feeling. felt like in the middle of nowwhere but only a half mile or so from civilization. Unfortunately I lost all my pictures of Arran - managed to lose my memory card. Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories with these pictures.
