Of course the visibility of the carvings is enhanced with red colour. | marginalbear (2012-07-09) | Not too fanciful to suggest they are seals, a whale, a boar and a wolf. It could be the number of animals killed by this hunter, which makes the figures at the top victims as well. If, as I suspect the presence of a dagger on the figure on the chariot denotes a male not yet fully grown to wear the full sword of the adults., he may well have died young. Or as a boy racer? |
