Not marked on the map but close to the beach of Borthwen and accessible from a path we have yet to find any details of this chamber and question its authenticity.

| Posted Comments: Jeremy Banham (2004-08-24) | This was here in 1945 when my family owned Borth Escqob (sorry about the spelling but I'm only an Englishman) No locals (i.e. Will Jones and Tom Jones and Gwylm Jones) knew anything about it then (immediately after the war) but the Ray (or Wray) family who owned the field and the house immediately above site might know more. The other principal landowner of the time was Rouse, a Cheshire solicitor, who owned the house at the south east end of the main beach. [Now living in Chalfont St Peter] |
