It was actually the landowners who mentioned the cairn to me, as CADW had written to them making them aware that a decent cairn lie on their property.
This is catching the north west of the kerbing (left), the cist to the right, looking east with the Conwy river below. A lovely, peaceful location. I visited (and found it late on Saturday evening) but the light was failing rapidly. I returned on Sunday morning, and must have spent about 1.5 hrs in total here. Wonderful. This mountainside draws me, and continues to yield delightful discoveries. |
