This weird stone would look good in 'War of the Worlds'! On my first visit, I was stunned by the shapes of some of these gnarled and twisted stones. Here are two views of the tallest of the 'King's Men', taken after the Cotswold Pagans' ceremony on 19th June 2005. |

(2011-04-13) | This one's just come up on random image. I guess the ancient people wouldn't have seen this 'monster' in the stone, as it would have crumbled over the years? Be great if it WAS original, though. ;-) |
