Is their any vertical and horrizontal tool marks which could be a recording of latitude and longitude of the people that made the structure. They did this by using a sun dial as hown in the Ohio Rock found in Ohio. | Thorgrim (2005-06-21) | Look - I may be completely wrong, but that green stain looks like its from a copper rod. Are you sure that this is a prehistoric stone and not something industrial and much more recent? I've never heard of the Houghton Common stone circle and it doesn't appear to be listed by Burl. |
