Marked as long barrows on the map. On private land 3km north-east of Talgarth, this is one of two grass covered mounds visible from the road and situated in the same field.
The southern of these two Neolithic cairns is the better preserved and consists of a single 3m long gallery grave at the north-eastern end of a 33m long cairn. The chamber had 10 uprights supporting 2 capstones which are now displaced. |
