| Posted Comments: minteddy (2006-08-11) | I think this is one of the most beautiful stone circles in Britain. The central granite pillar is about 5 feet high, standing on a cobbled area. The stones of the circle are quite smoot as though they had been collected from a stream. I saw the site for the first time at the end of October 1992 when the colours and sunlight were magical. |
