(2005-06-12) | Sorry if this sounds corny, but how about - 'The Paps of Dumbarton'?? (With a nod to Jura). Just out of curiosity: If you searched the nearby area, would you find a stone circle to the SW or NE in alignment with this site? | nicoladidsbury
(2005-06-13) | There is a resevoir to the south east called Leperstone Resevoir, perhaps a reminder of an old standing stone, but no circles are marked on OS. I must check the portal map. |
