Visited Monday 25th Septemebr 2000
Short distance off B5109, NEE Bodedern. Good parking, with signposting for the location, good access, and entry to field through a kissing gate.
Here lie two chambers, both in advanced stages of decay; the north chamber has been flattened lliterally just a pile of stones but has fascinating layering in the rock on the east side.
The southern chamber is still standing, but supported by a large wooden frame; it is obviously used as a sheep shelter, and we couldn't help speculating that one day the site could make some sheep puree! |
