The walk up from Boot whilst quite steep has stunning views, and anyone with an interest in the flora will find colonies of carnivorous sundews and butterworts growing right by the pathside, I’d recommend the drive in via the Wrynose Pass from Ambleside, the scenery is fantastic, but be warned it’s single track with passing bays and has some steep gradients (1:3 in places). |
