In Hochdorf, near Stuttgart. Excavated in 1968 and found completely untouched. Restored following excavations. Finds, including Celtic chiftain's body, War Chariot, drinking vessels, tools and ellaborate bronze couch in nearby Kelten Museum.

(2010-03-20) | I am not sure about this, but as far as I know the menhir is not part of the original setting but has been placed on top of the hill after the excavations were finished.
Will check that out next time :-) |
