NE Aberffraw. My visit here was a complete coincidence! Roadworks at the time diverted us past this, and the children were asleep being one to keep an OS map open on my legs while my wife drives this was an opportunity I could not miss!
Signposted from the lane, the footpath goes through a farmyard. The farmer asked about my business (a broad Yorkshire accent he had!), and happily directed me but admonished me not to climb upon the sizeable rocky outcrop which lies behind the chamber.
The stones are huge here, and like Ucheldref & Presaddfed, there is some distance between the remaining stones. |
