These features were raised proud of the stone, leading us to think it was a harder material? It didn't seem to be a seperate piece of rock stuck on the surface, appearing more like it merged into the stone. Can any geologists out there tell us what type of rock it is, and what the smoother, harder parts are? Cheers, Dave. |
