The numbering is that commonly used except that stone 25, which is shown on some plans, does not exist and the two stones often indicated at 32 & 33 may perhaps only have been one, but it is difficult to say without excavation.

Have you dowsed this circle Angie, it looks like there is an entrance between 40 and 39, and another one opposite between 11 and 12. | AngieLake (2005-05-10) | 18/19 - 20/21, The Portals, are where I found the entrance/exit Nicola. It was a lovely sunny evening, 19th June 2002, and I had the luck to meet Jack there! Had 2hrs dowsing. Got a long and complicated plan, back and forth, to significant stones, and on leaving through the portals again, found huge petal-shaped movements around the circle. Went back in 2003 and found another very interesting movement. Jack has compared my results of these movements to his significant stones with some interest. I have the plans if anyone wants to see them. | nicoladidsbury (2005-05-10) | I would love to see them, I find it all very interesting. Can't wait for your book to get published Angie! | Ed Cleasby (2005-05-26) | Wow! Interesting ...... just happened across the photo via a link .... I forgot I'd taken a set of stone circles a few years back. |
