Contact them for permission to reproduce it. |  | | Description | This may seem barely worth posting, but it is the only picture I took of the low mounds that form the avenue that runs from the Great Circle Earthwork to the accompanying square. A pair of similar avenue mounds once ran, very straight, from the Newark works to another set of earthworks some 96 kilometers away.
The low mound in this photo runs from just below center on the right directly toward Jonas's head. At this point, just leaving the circle, the avenue mounds are quite far apart, and the parallel mound cannot be made out in this photo. |
