This truly elegant stone, the tallest ogham stone in Ireland, stands 4.7m in height in an area which commands panoramic views over Ballycrovane Harbour and Coolagh Bay to the west. The stone narrows towards the top and is aligned NW-SE. The ogham inscription on the NW edge is now badly weathered but was recorded in 1945 as MAQI-DECCEDDAS AVI TURANIAS.
