As mentioned already, this stone stands 2.9m in height and is 1.7m wide. However, it is only 0.2m thick, giving it a classical "playing-card" shape with the main axis of the stone being aligned NNE-SSW. This alignment is similar to that seen in many stone pairs and rows in this area. The stone and nearby tomb are well worth visiting as much for the terrific scenery, and ease of access, as for the sites themselves.
