(2005-04-03) | Beyond the menhir can be seen some of the large stones laying around in a strangely uncleared part of the field. If these are just here due to field clearance, it is odd that they were not moved right to the edges. I wondered whether they had any significance, indeed certain of the stones looked as if they could have been remains of a burial chamber. But I had run out of space on my chip, so could get no more pictures. |
