Description Stannon stone circle on Bodmin Moor. As with most of the circles in this part of Bodmin Moor, the largest and most prominent stone is a large upward pointing triangular slab. Seen here looking east through the circle towards the splendid Roughtor on the horizon.

Wow, great pic! - and I bet that triangle tip aligns with the notch in the top of Roughtor at a special time of the year... like Equinoxes, when the sun rises up between the peaks??
