Watch out for downloading pirates and contact a quality poster publisher without delay! | creators (2005-03-26) | Thanks Thorgrim for the thumbs up, I was pretty chuffed with it but didn't think it was THAT good. Do you really think it's poster quality? It's incredibly hard to tell with your own pictures. | Thorgrim (2005-03-26) | Yes, but you will need very high resolution image - not the usual Portal low res. New Age shops will lap it up! | creators (2005-03-26) | This is going to be said very sotto voce, I do digital, not a film camera to be seen in my gaff, so I have no idea yet if what I have taken can be blown up to poster size. I am using a Nikon D70, 6.1 megaplunkles, which will go to A3, but not sure it'll cope with anything above that. The original image is 3008 x 2000 pixels, do you happen know if that is even worth pursuing? OK, now you can slap me with a splintered ruler. Thanks for the 'yes', whether it'll go there or not. I am struggling to make a living out of this so whatever wisdom you can throw at this will be most welcome. | Thorgrim (2005-03-27) | Sorry I can't advise on digital. Nothing I've seen on digital can beat film for quality, but that's progress. Never mind - still think its worth pursuing | creators (2005-03-27) | Ok, thanks Thorgrim. | Thorgrim (2005-03-27) | You should be ok. Your D70 is a digital SLR not a compact, right? So that's as a good as they get. |
