Description Full moon riising over Avebury. There was quite unpromising heavy cloud during late afternoon and dusk, then it all started to melt away.

Wow and treble wow! That is lovely and will have enormous commercial potential. Watch out for downloading pirates and contact a quality poster publisher without delay!

Thanks Thorgrim for the thumbs up, I was pretty chuffed with it but didn't think it was THAT good. Do you really think it's poster quality? It's incredibly hard to tell with your own pictures.

Yes, but you will need very high resolution image - not the usual Portal low res. New Age shops will lap it up!

This is going to be said very sotto voce, I do digital, not a film camera to be seen in my gaff, so I have no idea yet if what I have taken can be blown up to poster size. I am using a Nikon D70, 6.1 megaplunkles, which will go to A3, but not sure it'll cope with anything above that. The original image is 3008 x 2000 pixels, do you happen know if that is even worth pursuing? OK, now you can slap me with a splintered ruler. Thanks for the 'yes', whether it'll go there or not. I am struggling to make a living out of this so whatever wisdom you can throw at this will be most welcome.

Sorry I can't advise on digital. Nothing I've seen on digital can beat film for quality, but that's progress. Never mind - still think its worth pursuing

Ok, thanks Thorgrim.

You should be ok. Your D70 is a digital SLR not a compact, right? So that's as a good as they get.
