Also known as Rutschfelsen or Pierre a Glisade or pierre a Bebe. The german origin of the name suggest a small doll or obviously a baby. Natural stone 150 meters up on a 45 degree incline hill, used for fertility rites. Women desiring to get pregnant would slide down the slope.
There are a lot of natural stones in various shapes and positions on the hill, but this one appears to have been venerated for eons.
It, never mind the entire hill, is in a particularly treacherous position among lose stones covered in moss and any woman daring to climb the hill clearly deserve the desired outcome.
There is no mobile phone reception in this valey and no one in anything other than top physical condition should attempt the climb alone. Not recommended for beginners. |
