Stunningly situated on the shoulder of Maughanclea Hill, with panoramic views over towards Bantry Bay, a complete five-stone ring is part of a delightfully compact megalithic complex which also includes a fine pair of standing stones and a radial cairn which is nearly 8m in diameter. Eighteen sharp-pointed, radially-set, upright kerb stones form a 6.4m ring set off-centre within the cairn. |
