This site is not listed on Magicmap but Pastscape says ‘Excavation in 1946 by RS Musson recovered some sherds of Bronze Age pottery, animal bones, a pebble pounder, a flint flake and a core. Also present were 3 unidentifiable pieces of iron and a possible hearth. Two stone walls were noted across the mouth of the cave’ |
