| Posted Comments: enkidu41 (2005-03-13) | Both this and Windmill Tump are "classic" Cotswold-Severn long barrows, with an E/W axis, and you are right to notice a similarity from a distance. In details they are different. Crippets Barrow apparently had a single chamber at its eastern end; Windmill Tump has a similar chamber but also 2 side chambers with short entrance passages. |
