Weird. In thumbnail view, that stone on the right and the cloud formation above it looks like someone standing there in a cloak... or is just my dodgy eyes?

Not your eyes - its the connection to the visual centres of the brain (it sez here!). In the bottom right hand corner of the large stone I can see, in relief, the nose, mouth and chin of a human face!

...now you've mentioned it, so can I!

Also, isn't that a Feynmann diagram in the top centre of the large stone? And that's not to mention the eyes of someone with a hangover lying on his right hand side in the bottom left hand corner of the large stone just to the right of the carving of the Obelisk of Hatshepsut! (Jeeez...I really shouldn't have popped those pills!)

I certainly get a sort of cartoon face with both eyes on the left side down in the bottom corner. Reminds me of some artist, cant say who - is it early Matt Groening ? or Picasso ?

Um, if you look hard enoughf there are many strange faces, but i do not think that the pre-historic person that did these carvings had the same image as the one that we are seeing? it would be interesting to show this rock art to a modern-day hunter-gartherer eg. Aborigini or Kung San to see what they saw and what differing interpretations they would make of it?
