Contact them for permission to reproduce it. | | | Description | "Khirbet Iskander" is a site from the early Bronze Age, a 1,500 year era dating from c.3,500 BC, which saw the rise and collapse of the first cities. It is an Arabic term meaning the "ruins of Alexander (the Great)" which is somewhat anachronistic as Alexander conquered the area in c.323 BC, post-dating the site by at least 2,500 years. This stone is from the ruins. |
