There are so many modern stones and stone circles popping up on various places... dunno, but i've never heard of it. | wayland (2005-01-31) | That was my concern too, It seems to have been there for a while but how long is impossible to say.
I was a bit suspicious about it not being on the maps. I named it after an existing name in the landscape ( the local stream ) which sounds appropiate but I would love to know more about it. | AngieLake (2005-02-02) | This stone is a very interesting shape. Why is it so smooth? Is it because cattle have rubbed against it (and could they, with all that rubble around it?), or has it come from a river bed, where the water has smoothed it? |
