About a third of this stone has been broken off but still stands to a height of about 3m with a width of 2.5m and thickness 0.5m. It faces north-south at an angle of 40 degrees and is thought to point towards an enormous cave and/or a spring south of it.
It stands close to some dolmens and nearby are traces of rectangular walls suggesting it may have been part of a larger megalithic structure. |
