West bank of Lake Nasser, Egypt
N22.73108 E32.26250 (south of tropic of Cancer) 193 Meter Elevation. It was orginaly 2.5 Km to the East and 40 meter blow the present level.
Orientation: SW-NE
This is the oldest surving temple in the Nubian region. It was originaly built by Thuthmosis III and later remodeled by Amenhotep II (18th Dynasty).
The pylons were made out of mud bricks, which were originaly plastered and covered with reliefs, which are now lost. Many reliefs inside survive.
