Composite image, camera resting on a post of the barrows protective fence: the only way to capture the barrow without the fence spoiling the view. Conifers of Stockley inclosure can be seen behind, with a camoflagued water-tank lurking in the trees to the right. I'll return to this spot in the summer, see how the ambience changes when the barrow is surrounded by caravans. |
