A sheep stands atop the barrow, and is sufficiently brave enough to stay still while I take its picture. The ground immediately to the east of the barrow is extremely muddy and covered in sheep droppings: the upright stones provide shelter from the prevailing winds for the livestock. |

This hobby can attract rather 'serious' and 'boring' labels if you are committed to it, so maybe visitors will see we DO have a sense of humour?
