|Description ||An interesting alignment of stones at Stenness - 2001|
|New angle on a much photographed site - great! It also shows that you can make an almost infinite number of alignments from a finite number of stones whether the architects intended them or not. That is why I remain sceptical about archaeo-astronomy and alignments.|
|I believe these in the foreground were re-erected, so it wouldn't be very reliable anyway! Looking the other way, they capture Maes Howe's mound.|
