A very large long barrow, looking like two separate mounds. Visible signs of being hacked into in the past. Trees, that were growing on it in the l960s, have been cut down – roots left as they were. No visible signs of large stones but a scatter of small stones in the top middle where a small dent looks as if either human or animal has dug into it. Nearby Ladihame boundary stone in ploughed field with corn – unlikely to be there. Private land. |
