A small ledge under the plaque holds a tub of violas; the only beautifying object left here on the spot.

| Posted Comments: brickmaker (2006-08-28) | The Well used to (in the early 1970's) be a bit more exposed but even then it was used as a litter receptical! Apparently one of a number of such healing wells in Much Wenlock. |
