Description The site viewed from the SE.
Megalithic chamber originally covered by at least 3 capstones (external size at least 7m by 3m). As the chamber is deeply embedded into significant remains of a slightly oval barrow the ground-plan is not certain. 2012

German Sheepses! Is this a first ?

:) Possibly yes. Not sure though. As the megalithic sites over here usually are located in woodland or within fields it is quite unusual to have sheep near a site. This is one of very few megalithic sites surrounded by heathland. And since few years sheep are here to avoid the heathland becoming overgrown.

Is that Cerrig out-of-picture to the right? They're obviously nervous of something!

Well....now you mention it. Do you think they are possibly watching the two inflatable life-sized statues of you both which I placed few meters out of picture to the right?

Well, I knew you could get Sem dolls in Germany, but Anne Summers told me that that the EU had banned mine because of size restrictions.

Back row, second from right is whispering "Oooh, I like the look of that pugnacious troll. Can't wait to get into his wellies!"

These German sheep obviously have much better taste than their Yorkshire cousins( Mr Gill )
