This pic was taken on the day we found the cairn. Whilst DocP was messing around with silly scientific stuff like azimuths and angles, I suddenly realised that this stone must have been placed here to point at something. Investigating the rubble in the background I realised we had found a cairn.
Note the pentagonal profile - a shape often used to indentify a stone as a "signpost".
