They were very efficient and let us know when it was ok to visit and where to get the range pass when we arrived. When we got there everybody was extremely helpful and friendly and suggested the best route to visit the site. On the way we saw two Red Kites flying nearby in the hills, the scenery is excellent. The circle is easy to find as you approach because markers have been placed in the centre of the ring as well as the nearby cairn. The circle is about 18m (59ft) across and the tallest stones are in the west and reach just 0.75m (2.5ft). We counted 14 stones but just on the ESE edge of the circle is an arrangement of five more fallen stones, four of them are almost 1.5m (5ft) long.
