Postman's lovely photo of the 'moon going down just before the sun came up' reminds me - tomorrow (Wednesday 28th) there should be a chance of catching the (full) moon rising just as the sun goes down - but with a chunk missing as there is partial lunar eclipse.
I know this from the wonderful Moon etc Calendar I bought from the Portal last year! All I need to do now is find somewhere as striking as Ystum Cegid Isaf to capture it - and of course a clear sky!!

Good luck pab. Must agree, Postman's photo is very atmospheric. I love photos with the full moon - maybe it's my Wiltshire gran's genes? ;-)

Decided Pentre Ifan would be best - as there is clear view west. Unfortunately there was line of cloud along the horizon, & by the time the moon rose above it the eclipse was over!
Still, watching full moon rising over Pentre Ifan is quite a nice way to spend the evening. Wonder if anyone else managed a clear view somewhere special...?

I could see it quite clearly, from Tesco petrol station, that's not special though is it ?
