It was impossible to photograph the water without including one of the three or four eyesores lying in it. The plain surroundings would have been pleasant enough: a large-stepped layout, with room for several people to sit and contemplate whatever pilgrims do at wells. Sadly disappointing after the rather inviting view from the road, and not much of a reward for my risking life and limb to find it! |
| Posted Comments: TimPrevett (2007-04-14) | Angie, those bags are still there! (well they were, last Wednesday...) | pab (2012-04-19) | Bags now (at least when we visited) by the debris from one of the walls having been vandalised... | AngieLake (2012-04-19) | That sounds bad, pab. I've been back twice since the new road was built bypassing the village, but haven't re-visited the well. I imagine it is safer to get to it now? :-) |
